So, it's not a $2500 brand name mattress. However, I could not feel any difference, having tried the expensive brand name in a store. The Queen Pillow-top mattress was delivered yesterday with the packaging in good order. I unpacked it (nice mattress cover fitted, btw) and there was a very slight latex smell which dissipated almost immediately and after a couple of hours, the mattress was "inflated" to full size, along with the two queen pillows I ordered, so I put on the mattress pad and a set of sheets and enjoyed a great night's sleep! No 2am wake-ups (which happened regularly) and I woke up at 5:00am feeling rested with no back-ache (which used to happen regularly. This mattress works for me, at least based on one night - time will tell, but so far I like it a lot. And for the price, you can't beat it.
Update: I've now been sleeping on this mattress for a couple of months and would not change it. It's supportive and comfortable, does not hold heat, and I usually sleep through the night - sometimes waking up in the same position I fell asleep. Still works for me ...
