We just received our new mattress three days ago.I was a bit skeptical because I was buying a mattress over the internet that I'd never even felt.I was even more skiptical when I saw the thin rolled up mattress waiting on the patio when I got home from work.But as soon as we got it into our bedroom and peeled the many layers of plastic wrap off, it immediately began to "puff up" and look more like a regular mattress.I was expecting to smell the horrible scent many of the other reviewers were experiencing, but there was none.Maybe the manufacturers have finally caught on and pre-aired the mattreses?At any rate, I patiently waited 48 hrs before I tried the mattress out even though I'm sure it was ready the next day.The mattress felt very firm compared to our old one but you could immediatley feel it conforming to your body.I must have fallen asleep immediately, which is something that rarely ever happens except when I'm really exhausted.I woke up almost 9 hours later completely rested and I was in the same position I was in when I fell asleep.I don't know that I didn't switch positions throughout the night, but there was definitely none of my usual flip-flopping.There was no back pain of any kind.I usually experince a bit of stiffness and acheyness... but there was nothing.I'll definitely be recommending this mattress to those I know shopping around for a new mattress.
