I've been wanting to have a platform bed instead of the headboard. I found the South Shore full platform bed on Amazon.com and so decided to purchase it. It was a big package. At first it looks like a daunting job of assembling the plaform: how am I gonna assemble this platform by myself, I asked. Thank god the assembling instructions were clear and the pieces were labelled nicely according to the instructions, thus making the assembling work much easier. The only difficult part is carrying/lifting the pieces of heavy woods. Although I managed to assemble the platform by myself within an hr, I still suggest having two persons becasue the woods are big and heavy (considering the size of the plaform). I got a couple of cuts while lifting the pieces together. After the hard work, the platform was assembled nicely; it looks great and fits well with my full sized mattress. I was proud of my work and definitely very pleased with the platform.
