SO I purchased this bed over a week ago and I love it!I have a bad back and finally got rid of my old spring mattress and got this one after reading about how this type of mattress is comfy! Here is some tips to do if you purchase this mattress:
1st: Open the mattress as soon as you get it and let it deflate to it's original size!
2nd:Take off the zippered cover that is on the mattress and wash it by itself. From other memory foam mattress purchase reviews I noticed everyone said the smell lingered too long.I took off the zippered cover right away which I noticed contained a lot of the smell. Once i washed it, the smell was gone! I did have to wash it 2x but it does the trick!
3rd:I used Baking Soda sprinkled on top of the mattress the 1st night to absorb the smell then vacuumed it off.
4th: Use dryer sheets laid out on top of the mattress after you vacuum up the baking soda and let them stay on for a couple of days.The dryer sheets will absorb the chemical smell and also make your mattress smell better!I left my on for 3 days and it worked perfectly!No more chemical smell!
I wanted to share these tips so that everyone can enjoy their mattress when they purchase it and get a good nights sleep!
I am definitely enjoying a super comfy bed!
