I wasn't sure what to expect considering the low price but we were pleasantly surprised! We love it! We wanted a firm mattress, and it is firm alright(we do have the mattress on a plywood platform), and yet supremely comfortable. The memory foam top isn't as squishy as it looks in the picture, but you can definitely feel your body settling in and being supported. It's soothing and relaxing to lie down and feel the foam conforming underneath you, like being firmly cradled. I used to wake up with backaches, but not anymore!
