My 2 1/2 year old refused to sleep on the toddler mattress I purchased that went with her new bed and would only sleep in my arms (for her nap) or on my bed (she would wake every two hours in her bed asking for me).In short I was desperate and thank God for this mattress!She slept on the foam side (the toddler side) one night and that was all it took, she's been in her own bed ever since without so much as a midnight whimper- I would pay double what they asked for!I loved it so much I bought a second one for my son who uses the infant side and also sleeps soundly.It also has a thick, plastic-like cover so that when there are diaper leaks they can be cleaned up with a quick scrub with soap and wiped away with a try towel and ready for a new bed sheet in a matter of minutes.Bless the makers of this mattress they really understand a mother's need for a long term (easy to clean) mattress, a baby's safety, and most of all a toddler's need for a softer more "grown up" bed!
