Bought this to convert a former kid's room into a functional space for me. Have had this now for 3 weeks and am delighted. Set up was included in the delivery fee, but I could have done it alone or with a little help within 10 minutes or so.The link spring is attached to the frame and is wonderfully supportive. My existing mattress set fits perfectly, so special bedding was not required.
The color--black walnut--is really more of a dark pewter. Has a powder coat finish which probably requires no more than an occasional once over with a damp cloth. This bed is sturdy and can accomodate two adults with no problem.
Ended up purchasing a daybed set, but a standard twin quilt would have worked, too.
