This frame is a work of great engineering.It comes disassembled in a box but all of the pieces snap together without the need of tools (they have pins that you push in that then pop out and lock the pieces together once you align the holes.)There are optional wheels for it and wall guards that you can attach. The thing is solid once you connect the pieces together (which takes about three minutes.)I went with a piece of plywood instead of the cloth top because I am going to use a foam mattress, but for the regular mattress I have now the plywood isn't needed.It has metal crossbeams that run along the top in one direction.
Without the wheels attached the frame is eight inches tall.I strongly suggest googling it for pictures of it without the cloth, it really looks nice.
