We bought this bed for our 8 yr old daughter for Christmas.It arrived earlier than it was anticipated and the free shipping was great.The carrier called ahead of time to ensure we were at home before he arrived.The bed is perfect for her room, and very sturdy.It has maximized the space in her room.The only thing is the desk area is a bit dark, even though we put the bed by the windows in the room.Maybe it has to do with the way the light comes in the room.Anyway, we remedied that by buying some desk lamps.
