My wife bought this for us recently. The claim to be cooler than other memory foam toppers is correct. Other than that, we didn't find it very comfortable at all. For starters, it took a few days for it to not be wrinkled and pinched. After that, it still has a hump in the middle. I'd say it's like sleeping on a gym mat. Because I'm a man with no curves in my hips, I was more tolerant than my wife who found it very uncomfortable. I will say this, if you sleep on your back and are struggling with back problems, this topper might actually be what you need. I found it relatively OK to sleep on my back. It seamed supportive in that way. I couldn't stay on my side for very long without feeling uncomfortable.
We ended up going with two 1.5" green memory foam toppers from WalMart and we're fairly comfortable now. It seams to be a bit softer than this foam.
