This is the best mattress pad I've seen, and I have tried 4 different brands already. I just purchased another one. The other three waterproof mattress pads I tried made baby sweat. They are all waterproof, but it didn't really have much absorption layer so it prevented the wee from soaking into the mattress but it soaked into baby's clothes and the blankets instead.
This Smart dri kept everything pretty much dry. At first, I wasn't even really sure if it was really wet as our bub slept right through. It was kind of damp but not soaking wet. I poured some water to see if it really absorbed that well, and it did.
I highly recommend this for anyone. I give thumbs up!
