I knew I wanted a heated mattress pad but was very reluctant to spend the "top dollar" that this model commanded for a twin size bed.However, I've found it to be absolutely worth it.Why?Mainly because it has three independent heat zones, but also because it doesn't bunch up at all.For pre-heating I set the "head" and "middle" sections on medium, and the "foot" section on high.When I turn out the lights to sleep, I'm able to turn off the head and middle sections entirely, and just leave the foot section turned down to medium.It is fantastic to have warm, comfy feet all night long!I've taken off one star for two reasons:(1) there is no "on" indicator light (the display goes dark to save energy) and (2) in the dark it is difficult to read the numbers for re-setting, even when the display is "awakened".Otherwise this product would rate a "5".Click Here to see more reviews about: Sunbeam Therapeutic 200-Thread-Count Cotton Heated Mattress Pad
